Strategic partnerships provide a valuable foundation for considering how local partners can work together to improve outcomes for the people or organisations that they serve.
This section provides information about strategic partnerships related to Wakefield District’s voluntary and community sector (VCS), including minutes of meetings and contact information. These include the Compact Working Group and Wakefield Infrastructure Partnership.
The Compact Working Group comprises statutory and VCS organisations working together to develop an environment for a thriving third sector in Wakefield District. It aims to significantly increase the size and capacity of the third sector by 2011.
The Wakefield Infrastructure Partnership is a network of organisations that provide training, advice and development support to the VCS.
