A consortium comprises two or more organisations that have come together to achieve a common goal. To do this they will take part in a common activity and may pool resources.

Being a member of a consortia may increase access to contracts and funding which might otherwise be unattainable. Consortia members can also share learning and knowledge with each other, and come together to influence policy in a unified way.

This section provides you with access to information about voluntary and community sector consortia operating across Wakefield District, including information about how you can get involved.
