Voluntary Action Wakefield District (VAWD) is running two free workshops specifically designed for Wakefield District rural communities on the Localism Act and Community Rights, and Neighbourhood Planning. You will learn what this legislation means for you, how your community can benefit and about potential funding opportunities from them e.g. Community Infrastructure Levy. We are also running a free drop-in session to help you to start up or develop your group.

'Grow your community with Esh' - grant scheme offering up to £1,000

Family Services engagement event - proposals for Wakefield District's TIIAG Service
