wakefieldvcs.org website
Make sure you are on the new website for and about Wakefield District's voluntary and community sector
Organisations in Wakefield District have worked together to develop a web portal to support Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations in the Wakefield District and improve how all the sectors work together.
Visit the website here and subscribe to its e-bulletin.
You need to complete, sign and return the directory of voluntary and community groups registration form to ensure you are present on the website.
The wakefieldvcs.org website aims to bring information about the important work that Wakefield District's VCS does into one place and help everyone to communicate together better. The aim is to benefit the VCS, potential commissioners, funders and the Wakefield community.
The website will also include information to help you to run your organisation and details of funding, training and volunteering opportunities to support your work, and more.
If you would prefer to receive a printed copy of the registration form by post or in an alternative format, or are interested in supporting the development of this website, please email Maria Langham, telephone: 01924 367418 or write to Maria Langham, Single Portal Manager, Voluntary Action Wakefield District, 11 Upper York Street, Wakefield, WF1 3LQ.
